소화가 안된다

사틀 동안에 소화가 안된다. I know what this means, but I don’t know how to say it in English. I’ve been in Korea too long. I haven’t been hungry or eaten for 4 days and know that the correct expression for this is 소화가 안된다, but for the life of me wouldn’t know what to say to an English speaking doctor.

    콩글리쉬를 쓴대요. 자기도 모르게. ‘핸드폰’같은 말.

    I have a digestion problem. 이렇게 말하면 안 되나요?
    생각나면 알려주세요.
    사흘 동안 소화가 안 되시면 많이 답답하세요?
    아니면 그냥 배가 고프지 않고 안 드시기만 하는 거세요?
    얼른 나으시길 바랄게요.

    날씨와도 상관이 있을 거예요.
    많은 사람들이 그렇다고 이야기 하더군요.
    입맛도 떨어지고, 시원한 것만 찾게 되고, 먹어도 소화가 잘 안 되고…
    이럴 때 매운 음식은 어떨까요?

    Although I’m not familiar with the phrase, it seems like this is saying “I’ve had indigestion for 4 days.”

    But if you wanted to say “I’ve had a loss of appetite for 4 days,” wouldn’t you say something like, “사틀 동안에 식욕이 없다.”

  7. By the way, just for the record, I’ve never been to Germany, so I don’t know what that flag is all about up there… I wrote “Jeju-shi” in the location, so go figure.

    이 화제가 떨어졌나보지만 저도 답글 달려고 하는데요…

    왕음치씨의 상황에 대해서 영어로 말하려면 유란씨가 말씀 하신대로
    “I haven’t had much of an appetite lately"라고 하겠어요.

    그러면 “소화가 안된다는 말은 “no appetite"과 “poor indigestion"를 둘다 뜻하는가요?
